Today I'm reminiscing over one of my favorite British traditions- high tea. When I was in college, going to tea was a favorite tradition with friends. One of the advantages of high tea is the endless supply of tea, sandwiches, and cakes- perfect for a college student on a budget!
Of all the places for high tea in London, the Cadogan Hotel in London is probably my favorite. We celebrated many a birthday, engagement, and special event there. Oscar Wilde used to write there so it has a lovely literary bent :) If you're looking for something a little fancier for tea in London, the Savoy and Ritz are also fun places.
This picture is from a visit to London in 2011. Here I am a Peggy Porschen in Chelsea. It's an amazing place with fabulous tea and cake.
