Top 16 of 2016

This year was a weird reading year for me. Up until November, I was way behind on my Goodreads reading challenge and wasn't really connecting with much. Then He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named happened and I read nearly forty books, mostly historical romances, and it was GLORIOUS. I discovered new-to-me favorites like Kerrigan Byrne and Elizabeth Hoyt this year and adored new releases by some beloved favorites. Because I geek out on stats and stuff, here's my reading breakdown for the year and my sixteen favorite books of 2016 (in no particular order).

1. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

2. Duke of Pleasure by Elizabeth Hoyt

3. The Score by Elle Kennedy

6. Wild at Whiskey Creek by Julie Anne Long
